Desire For Quick Fix Causes Us To Hit Iceberg! 

Crazy discussion and debates based on misconceptions and our desire for quick fix solutions cause us to continually move the chairs on the Titantic and not address what we say is the topic of the discussion: Demand Reduction of Drugs.

Reducing the demand for drugs is not about legalizing drugs. Legalizing drugs is about moving the problem from our legal system to our medical system.

Reducing the demand for drugs is about understanding the research and being willing to participate in the solution by decreasing RISK FACTORS while increasing PROTECTIVE FACTORS. It's not just about drugs. It is about our inability to say no. We don't know how, when and why to say no to certain behaviors - and how our behaviors affect other people.

Are you thinking - "Wow, I;m not so sure about that. It sounds like I might have to do something and not just watch TV and listen to sound bites, random statistics and arguments. Wow, I might have to really understand the problem. Oh wow, I don't know I'm real busy - someone else maybe in the legal or medical field or schools should do something about the drug problem."
